The Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water
The Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water (PSIPW) is a leading scientific award for innovation in water research. Every two years, PSIPW offers five distinctive prizes for work that addresses the problem of water scarcity in creative and effective ways.
There is the Creativity Prize, worth US$ 266,000, which awards pioneering interdisciplinary work that can rightly be considered a breakthrough in any water-related field. There are also four Specialized Prizes, each worth US$ 133,000, in surface water, groundwater, alternative water resources, and water management & protection.
Nominations for the 9th Award are now open. The deadline for receiving nominations is 31 December 2019. Nominations are made online at the PSIPW website.
